B'nai Tzadok | Beit Shalom: Statement of Faith
We believe in one God as declared in the Sh'ma (Deuteronomy 6:4) who is Echad (a compound unity) and eternally existent as manifested by: The Father, the Son and the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) and He will be what He will be. Isaiah 48:16-17, Genesis 1:1, Exodus 3:6, Ephesians 4:4-6
We believe in Messiah Yeshua's deity (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1,4), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), His sinless life, His atoning death (Isaiah 53, Psalm 22), His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His future return in power and glory. We believe that Yeshua is Adonai in the flesh and that no one may go to the Father except by through Yeshua.
We believe in the personality and deity of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) who indwells all believers from the moment of salvation and enables them to walk out Torah by obeying the instructions of God and by loving Him with all their heart, soul and might. The Ruach Ha Kodesh gives gifts that are used to minister to God first and then to edify man. These gifts are encouraged in healthy environments and guided by discernment.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Tanach (Old Covenant Scriptures) and the B'rit Chadasha (New Covenant Scriptures) is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and is to be used for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Yeshua is the Torah (word of God) incarnate, He and the Word were the beginning and will the end. Psalm 119, Proverbs 30:5-6, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 1, Rev 1
We believe in God's eternal covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We, therefore, are established by that which is not made by hands (flesh), but rather by the Ruach Ha Kodesh as living tabernacles of the Most High. We are seed of Abraham and share and walk in this covenant as part of the commonwealth of Israel. Furthermore, we stand with and support the State of Israel and believe that God’s plan still involves this part of Israel as well and pray for them as such.
We believe in the biblical process of being born of water and of Spirit. In as much, the mikvah process is a necessary part of the spiritual walk. Mikvah provides the basis for deliverance, resolution, restoration and right standing before God through the death, burial and ressurrection of Yeshua our Messiah.
We believe that Yeshua did not come to destroy the Torah (law) or the prophets, but to fulfill (bring full meaning of the Torah). Matthew 5:17, John 14:15
We believe that Yeshua came to give us life and that we would have it more abundantly. John 10:10
We believe ”You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. This is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like unto it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself and that on these two commandments hang all the law (Torah) and the prophets." as taught by Messiah Yeshua. Matthew 22:36-40
We believe YHWH’s Holy Feast Days and His Sabbath, as spoken of in the Torah should be observed. These Feasts are part of our heritage and calling. Yeshua observed these feasts, and taught through them. Moreover, Yeshua is revealed in these feasts and His prophetic plan for His people, Israel, and the apponted time to meet with the God of Israel, are the essence of the Biblical Feasts.
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Messiah Yeshua and, during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, give spiritual gifts consistent with scripture, to guide, seal, instruct, immerse, and empower believers to godly living and service; then through the baptism of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, after being endued with power on high, we might fulfill the great commission as in Mark 16:15-18. John 1:33, Eph 1:13, Eph 4:30, 1 Thes. 4:8
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:24
We believe that our old sinful nature was crucified on the cross and buried in baptism. We are then resurrected into a new life with Messiah Yeshua. Col 2:12, Acts 2:38-39, Romans 6:4, Romans 10:8-12
We believe Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
We believe that the community and communtiy members should bear righteouse fruit:
- Abuntantly bearing Fruit of the Spirit by submitting to Torah and thus producing fruit by His Spirit. Gal. 5
- Making mature disciples. Hebrews 5:14
- Being covenantly faithful to one another. 2 Thes. 1:3
- Thinking generationally. Deut. 7:9
- Being transparent and humble with one another. Acts 2:42-47
- Living testimony of Messiah through a lifestyle of Torah. Romans 10:4

- Mutual respect and accountability. Hebrews 10:24\
- Generosity and sharing. Acts 4:32-35
- Shared leadership and responsibilities. Phil. 4:3
